Even Rolling Stone listed the hit as among top Songs of 2015. Her debut Know It All album in the year that followed. The third single, Scars to Your Beautiful was among five songs that reached the top of the charts on Billboard including Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 and Billboard Hot 100. It was a special track since, in light of her interview with Rap-Up that she conducted, many of the listeners could relate to her experience in learning to love themselves and doubting her. Cara is famous for including songs about mental health, kindness and self-love into her music. Her music is a reflection of her own struggles in dealing with anxiety and depression. Reuters reported that she called her album "half turbulent, and half finished". The therapy she received has helped her develop and encourages people to try it too.
